whats up guys i was wondering if you can help me to install the cccam onto my dream box, i have comhem , i got the box with gemini, how do i download and install the software needed to run comhem channels.
i download the software onto my pc and how do i get into the dreambox from my pc?
i have the original comhem card , i put it into the dreambox right and then just install cccam any other programs?

if you have gemini, you dont have to ftp over the files.
Just press the blue button on the remote and you will be able to download cams in there.
CCcam doesn't work with Com Hem.
Download and install NewCS/MgCamd with the box -> addons or blue panel or what it is called in the image you are using...

sorry , for been annoying, just would like to get this thing going had so much trouble getting it first , now with the installation.

something is not right with your questions, either, your setup is not as you say, or its not you who needs the help.
Maybe dreambox is not for you. Why not just get the box from Comhem, it will work right out of the box.

NewCS and MgCamd + config files for each application.
To get your channels to work you have to start NewCS and MgCamd, normally it is started with blue button on remote...
hey i just started the dreambox and used the blue botton ,i downloaded and installed NewCS config and MgCamd
am using gemini CCcam 2.1.4
what else do i haver to do ?
hey i cant find NewCS and, mgcamd on the addons, i downloaded and installed the newcs config and the mgcamd config . the other 2 i cant find them on the list.
So i put in my original com hem card in the dreambox downloaded and installed the 2 software ,the othe 2 i cant find where can they be? what do i do next?

Blue button -> Addons -> Downloads (Gemini) -> Cam -> NewCS 1.67 - (bin)

ok found it and installed it what do i do now ?

Have you select them in blue panel and restart the service?
u mean restart the box? by just shutting it off on the remote control`? how do i see that the software is installed does it save it somewhere?
i go to the blue panel then to addons , download (gemini Server) then cam download mgcAMD 1.35a and Newcs 1.67, than i go to cam configsdownload mgcamd-config and newcs config, it says installed, than i go to exit shut off the box by remote control and try the channel. i have some channels svt1 etc... but not the coded channels. i have a comhem large now.
it finds all the channels the only thing is its blank,
the comhem large that i got when i put the card into the origanl box i have all the large package channels when i put it into the dreambox there is only like4-5 channels, not even the large package i can see
i think you should stick to your original comhem reciver.
you really need to read about dreambox and how it works.
¨Blue Button -> (left or right arrow on remote) -> mgcamd / newcs then hit the green button to restart cam.
am gonna try from the beginning , flash it again and download all the software and try it again. hopefully everything works out

And if you read my advice, then you already have had picture. Blue panel select mgcamd /newcs with right / left arrow on the remote -> green button -> picture.

i try to go on the net with th ip number i cant go on it its asking me for a username and password, where do i get the user name and password?

i just installed pli jade 3 gonna download the 4 software programs and try everything again hopefully it works
ohhh wrap the menu is different in the pli jade 3 , looking for the blue panel
hey i have a problem with my dreambox i had it flashed with gemini , than i changed it to pli jade , than i wanted to change it back to gemini wasnt happy with pli jade, after i flashed it again with gemini , the dreambox doesnt start. when i turn on the powercable it lights up red and green the light on the dreambox itself, it stays red and green, no picture just blank i tryed to shut it off for about 30 min and turn it back on same problem. what can i do ?
I got almost the same problem once whit my 7020 i just flashed it again and that worked, however i didnt try PliJade, i was flashing gemeni all the time, good luck

Well m8.. i dident need 3 pages of trial end error before my box was up and running, cant you tell us the purpose for your dreambox? These boxes are not for all and a litle bit of linux knowledge is not to bad to have when u start.
The reason your box is behaving like this is probably coz ur ssl got broken in a bad flash. Try to recover it with a nullmodem cabel and dreamup. You have got like 3pages of advice on how to get your legit comhem card to work in the box.
When u have installed newcs and mgcamd its should automagicaly decode your channels if u have the card in the box. The chip should be faced down.
After u have got all of those programs installed in the box and u still dont have any picture on the tv try to start mgcamd and newcs manually with telnet. Its gonna give you a log in the terminal window saying whats wrong and what not.
Summary: Reflash with dreamup, install decoding tools, start programs manually, post config files here.

am gonna get the nollmodem cable and start it up with dream up.
but the dreambox is not broken rite , so to say garbage? it can get fixed?
which flash is better for the dm600 pvr pli jade3 or gemini? i was thinking starting from 0 do everything right from the beginning, maybe its gonna work then
They're both good. The only thing you said is you want to watch Comhem, so the image doesn't matter.
You can always switch images if you like one better than the other. I assume you know how to flash.
i recomend PLi for the dm600, to get all the goodies you want you need to download the latest pli menu and after that u can download softcams and cardservers.
