SVT for learning swedish
Hey folks,
My wife and me are considering moving to Sweden.
As i can work fully remote - the job would be safe.
Actually we want to learn swedish. We like to watch Allsang and such shows. But it’s not easy to watch them on svtplay all the time. I tried to get a „deposit kort“ from canal digital or viasat, but they say i can get it only with an ID - so after buying an house and move. Has any one experiences with getting an card?
BR,
Hans

Guten Abend!

Mmh, eBay sounds like a good idea. But unfortunately I can’t find anything. Should be possible to get a card from provider. As I only want to watch SVT

Legally: No
You need to have a Swedish address in order to obtain such a card (if they still exist).
If someone has one and lend it to you, then no problem using it outside Sweden. I have a feeling that the cardvyhat was created for the areas of Sweden where terrestistal coverage (dvb-t) failed jas now been replaced by a free version of the cheapest program package from one of the providers.
