Nu kommer den amerikanska filmkanalen Showtime till oss i en svenska version. Start i slutet av september, så det är snabba puckar, och den kommer på Boxer kan man läsa på hemsidan.

NonStop Television is proud to announce a trademark license agreement with Viacom owned Showtime Networks Inc. for use of the Showtime brand in Scandinavia. NonStop Television will launch a Showtime branded movie channel throughout Scandinavia on September 30th. The launch of Showtime Scandinavia further strengthens NonStop Television as a significant TV-provider in the region.
Showtime Scandinavia will be a high profile niche movie channel which will complement the existing premium channels in the market. The channel will present the best of action, thrillers, science fiction and other related genres from the last decades. With adrenaline loaded films from Hollywood to Hong Kong, Showtime Scandinavia will deliver nonstop action - 24 hours a day.
Showtime Scandinavia will be distributed by Canal Digital, Telenor Avidi and the other leading cable operators. At launch the channel will reach approximately 350 000 households in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Showtime Scandinavia will be offered as a stand alone low priced movie channel as well as in packages together with other channels with subtitled programming. The channel is targeted towards an audience with focus on men 15-49.
Showtime gives you nonstop action - 24 hours a day. Premieres on September 30th.
