LAUNCH OF CONAX CAS7

(Amsterdam, 11 September 2004) Conax AS, a leading supplier of conditional access (CA) technology for digital TV, has today at IBC launched the new Conax CAS7 system.

Conax CAS7 marks a new milestone in Conax’s CA-system evolution. CA-systems are under constant pirate pressure, making it necessary to keep a step ahead. While our former main system version Conax CAS5 is expected to be robust for several years to come, Conax CAS7 represents an option for Conax CAS based operators to start upgrading to Conax’s latest security level.

Conax CAS7 supports all the CA-functions to be expected from a world class system, from classic subscription via PPV and pairing to our latest developments; ordering and payment of content via mobile phone SMS messages.
