Om du ska köra kortet i boxen räcker det inte bara med mgcamd. Du måste ha en kortserver programvara också som oscam eller newcs. Sedan behöver både kortservern och mgcamd konfigureras. För mgcamd måste du göra en newcamd.list fil som pekar på din server.

Alternativt kan du köra med enbart oscam eller cccam för dessa kan vara både server och klient samtidigt.

Kör du kortet i boxens kortläsare eller har du en separat kortserver?

Ja, mgcamd är bara en klient. Du måste ha mjukvara som aggerar server för att din klient ska kunna ansluta till kortet.
Nu har inte mgcamd något att ansluta mot. Du får installera oscam eller ccam.

Fråga besvarad 100ggr. Om du har Canal Digital så installerar du bara cccam så får du bild utan någon config alls. För viasat gäller oscam som måste confas.
