As some people tend not to read older posting in this forum (or even their PM's), i think it is time to say something about sharing and voting again:
When sharing keys, please follow some simple rules:
ONLY share keys that YOU personally tested as working.
remove the keys yourself, when they are no longer working.
only share the keys in those sections where they belong.
NO pmks in MK-sharing, only in opkey-sharing !
NO betacryptkeys in the irdeto-section !
do NOT post the same key under 2 different idents (or even more) !
do NOT post keys for idents that are no longer in use !
Issuer MKs belong to the issuer ident,
do not share them under provider idents !
If you did share a key wrongly you can remove it yourself.
Do NOT activate the keys yourself !
when voting for keys:
test the keys before voting YES or NO.
and make sure you know what you are doing...
take care before saying NO to a MK as the update may take a while
take even more care before saying NO to HMK as those are not easy to verify as non-working.
if those rules are not followed, penaltys will happen.
keys posted more than once or in wrong sections will be deleted, the poster will loose ALL yes votes on ALL his shared keys.
if those wrong postings/votings continues, will the poster be banned from sharing/voting for keys. Even strongers measures can still be taken.
