Comhem Software Update

tyvärr men min svenska är så dolig so jag ska skriv på engelska.

everytime I turn on the decoder, after the screen show the comhem logo bla bla bla it show the follow screen:

In order to improve the decoder operation a softtware up to date is necessary. It takes a few minutes, during the up to date, your screen will be black, do not turn off your decoder during this time. To receive this up to date press ok otherwise Q to exit

I dont know if is good or not click ok to update the decoder software and I dont know if this will delete my codes so I always click Q

what can I do?

is this necessary click OK ?

what can happend if I click OK ?

Well.. You can upgrade the decoder without getting problems.. but the only thing is that you have to remote the codes in a different way (Check the guides, remote-fix)

If you don't upgrade, you will get the same question forever.. :P

So it's okey to upgrade..!

when i accept the software update, the decoder will connect to Comhem ?

if the decoder so connect to comhem to et the software update, is this dangerorus I mean maybe comhem have a log with the updates so they can control that I am using their services without a contract with them (pirate)

and I was looking the remote-fix guider but I cannot find this

np mate the box can only reciver infomation not send ,, so comhem can't see if u are using a pirate card or not

No. The decoder is just a reciever, so don´t worry.
